Canine Country Kennels in situated on ten picturesque acres south of Barrie, Ontario in the township of Essa. There are six acres of forrest and hiking trails as well as a large grassy exercise area for games of chuck it and frisbee. There is a beautiful creek and a Canine Dock and Pool for the dogs to swim in during hot summer months, while getting some fun exercise and socialization at the same time. There is a safe, fully fenced and enclosed play area where the dogs can romp and play safely off leash. All canine suites are spacious and comfortable with raised beds, and all dogs are provided with cushy blankies and comforters to lounge and sleep in. Dogs are housed individually although we do also have two double sized suites for clients with multiple dogs who wish to room together. We use only bottled water for all our guests. The dogs also enjoy plenty of kongs and chew toys. Dogs can enjoy walks, hikes, swim time, group play time (dogs are prescreened for their suitability in group play time) as well as plenty of hugs and love from the staff.
