Zoë has fulfilled her lifelong dream by opening Canine Country Kennels and is dedicated to improving the lives of dogs everywhere. Zoe walked neighbour's dogs from an early age and had an assortment of small pets throughout her life. It was a natural transition after experiencing the love and devotion of her first dog Sam that she work towards fulfilling her dream of owning her own kennel. Prior to the opening Canine Country Kennels, Zoë provided a personalized dog walking service, Wag the Dawg, for 17 years in the Toronto area. With over twenty years in the customer service field, Zoë began to notice there was a difference in the level of care and service that dogs were given by the various walkers and saw a niche for someone who truly cared about the animals to develop a superior caring, specialized service.

Zoë set about to create a company that provided exemplary customer service with specialized care for each client.  Her many services included dog walking, pet sitting and taxiing to vet appointments while taking care of them and loving them as if they were her own. Zoe prided herself on providing personalized and individual attention to each dog, which included reinforcing known commands through positive training, teaching some nifty new tricks, as well as lots of hikes providing important socialization and exercise for the dogs with a never ending supply of love and hugs!

Zoë has attended many educational seminars/workshops on canine behaviour, care, positive dog training, massage therapy and use of Bach Flower remedies. She has attended seminars by Jean Donaldson, Kathy Sdao, Dr. Jean Dodds, and Don Hanson to name a few.  Zoë has earned her Pet First Aid certification and continues to participate in seminars that will enhance her knowledge of both canine behaviour and care, providing a healthy, safe, kennel environment for all her special canine guests.
